YES! Due to COVID-19, pre-bookings a day before are required. If we receive no bookings for Kaunas free walking tours, the guide will not go to the meeting point. You can easily do it via the website for free. Just click on the day you are interested in. If you cannot choose the date, it means the tour is not available anymore for that day.
Groups of 8 or more people should book a private tour. Due to COVID-19 we no longer accept bigger groups on our free tours.

Kaunas free walking tour starts in front of Soboras - St. Michael the Archangel's Church (Nepriklausomybės a. 14) and finishes in Kaunas Old Town. Look for our guides in front of the main entrance.

Yes, we never cancel tours because of the weather. Do not forget to bring an umbrella or dress appropriately and let's discover Kaunas together no matter what the weather is.

Pay-what-you-want is a popular tour concept all over the World. This tour doesn’t have a fixed price, you can decide yourself how much you pay your guide at the end of the tour. You can give 5 EUR to you guide or you can give 50 EUR whatever you feel the guide deserves :)
We are not supported by the city, we can run these tours because of the travellers who like our idea and work. That’s why we always do our best to give the best tours we can.
On free tours we have groups from 15 to 20 people.
You can give the tip to your guide at the end of the tour cash or by card. Most of our guides have card readers!
If you have to leave the tour earlier, you can approach the guide and also give the tip cash or by card before leaving.
