Discover Lithuania through its flavors, stories, and culinary traditions. On this guided tasting adventure, we explore how geography, history, and multicultural influences shaped our cuisine — and, of course, taste our way through it every step of the journey!

We begin at the iconic Gate of Dawn, where you’ll meet our guide with a yellow sign and get an introduction to Lithuania’s food heritage: how it formed at the crossroads of Europe and how traditions have been adapted through the centuries. From there, we head to our first tasting stop to enjoy a selection of local cheeses that have delighted generations and continue to inspire modern Lithuanian gastronomy.

As we make our way toward Town Hall, we dive into the rich multicultural character of Vilnius — a city shaped by Lithuanians, Poles, Jews, Germans, and other communities who traded, cooked, and shared recipes, leaving their mark on the city’s palate.

Next, we continue to a cozy local pub for an authentic Lithuanian experience. Here you’ll discover mead — one of Europe’s oldest traditional beverages — and taste two unique varieties paired with hearty snacks like cured meats, dark rye bread, and small fish bites.

We will also learn about one of the oldest surviving Lithuanian confectionery makers. And our experience concludes inside a local food shop filled with Lithuanian specialties. You’ll taste some of our most beloved desserts and find inspiration for edible souvenirs to take home.

Throughout the tour, expect a couple of surprises — but shhh… let’s keep those secret for now :)

Join us as we celebrate the flavors of Lithuania, where every bite tells a story and every flavor reveals a chapter of our culinary heritage transformed into modern tastes.
